- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Qurashi refused to see me! Sorry, this requires a back story. My old Dr stopped taking my insurance, so I signed up with Dr Qurashi. Shortly after, I woke up on a Sunday with my ear plugged with earwax. I went to the ER that morning, and they flushed it out. When they asked about drugs and alcohol, I told them the truth. I don't drink at all, no hard drugs, but I occasionally use cannabis. So today, I left work early to have my first visit with Qurashi. His secretary told me, "the doctor read your report from your last ER visit. He says your a drug addict and he won't see you". So I wasted hours upon hours finding a Dr that takes my insurance, left work early to go there (losing any opportunity for overtime this week), only to be treated like a junkie and turned away.
